The Silvis School District transports hundreds of student to and from school each day.  The goal of the transportation department is to transport students safely, efficiently, and on time to their destinations in a frame of mind ready to learn. Children in the Silvis School District are eligible for transportation if their home or babysitter’s residence is 1.5 miles or greater from their assigned school, or either residence is in a designated hazard area. Bus stops are assigned at the beginning of the school year and information provided to parents/guardians at student registration.
